Students will learn about the symbolic foods on the Passover Seder Plate through a hands-on craft activity. Once completed, this Passover craft can serve as a festive bulletin board display as well as a keepsake for classroom use, Hebrew schools, and home learning.

In this activity, students will color, cut, and glue the symbolic foods onto the Seder Plate worksheet.

This resource includes:

A Seder Plate template for assembling the symbolic foods.

A sheet showcasing the six traditional Seder Plate foods, labeled in both Hebrew and English. The foods include: Zeroa (shank bone), Beitza (egg), Maror (bitter herb), Chazeret (bitter lettuce), Karpas (parsley), and Charoset (apple-nut mixture).

A graphic organizer that details the meaning behind each symbolic food, helping students understand their significance in the Passover story.
